Hi! I’m Taylor Sun
I feel most alive when I’m getting creative, whether that’s writing poetry, painting, drawing, or taking photos. I picked up my first camera in 2016, and since then photography has taken me around the world to places like Bali, Mexico, Hawaii, Sedona, Mt. Shasta, and throughout the Pacific Northwest.
I’m married to my best friend and heart-mate, and we live in a small town outside Portland, OR, with our cat Klaus. I’m obsessed with my journals, I’m an avid fiction reader, and I love a good psychology podcast. I’m a Taurus-Scorpio-Scorpio (if you know you know), and I can make a good sauce for just about any meal.
Photographing love — there’s nothing like it. It’s vulnerable, it’s raw, and it’s a beautiful gift that I get to do this with my days.
Frequently asked questions...How long will it take to get our photos?
I typically deliver your final gallery via a password-protected link in 8-12 weeks. This includes the time it takes for film to be developed and digital files edited.
How far will you travel?
I love to travel and haven’t said “no” to a destination yet! I’ve photographed gatherings as far away as Bali and Mexico, as well as destinations throughout the PNW such as Lopez Island, the Oregon Coast, Mount Rainier, and more. If you have a dream destination in mind, I’m up for the adventure.
Do you do engagement photos too?
I sure do! Just let me know when you submit your inquiry whether you’re interested in engagement photos, wedding photos, or both.
Can you suggest locations for our engagement photos?
Yes, I have a handful of favorite spots around the PNW I can recommend. Our options will vary based on the time of year and weather, but rain or shine I’ll make it work!

Do you use a second shooter?
On request or when needed, I may bring a second shooter whose photography style and skill is similar to mine. Even when a second shooter is not needed, my wife often joins as day-of support—she’s got an intuitive eye for beauty and we make a good team!

Definitely. The first step is to submit an inquiry HERE. Then I’ll reach out to set up a video call where we can get to know each other.
I’ve seen portraits, pregnancies, and families on your social media—do you offer those too?
